Job description
This is a great opportunity for a new graduate to gain exposure in the solar industry at an innovative organisation that is growing rapidly. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain product knowledge and experience in fault-finding. On a daily basis, the successful candidate will provide technical support to customers by resolving technical issues, inquiries, and complaints, managing communications, and implementing corrective action plans. Experience in providing technical customer support/ experience in the solar or electrical industry is advantageous.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Stakeholder Relations:
- Build and maintain trust relationships Internally and externally to the business (relationship building).
- Ensure all customer activity is recorded on the company CRM system and logs are kept up to date at all times.
- Identify areas for improvement in managing customer demands to ensure maximum satisfaction, and maintain quality over quantity.
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues.
- Work as part of the team to share ideas and improve operations and contribute to new business initiatives and projects.
- Facilitate and encourage effective intra- and cross-departmental interaction.
- Resolve technical customer issues, inquiries and complaints, manage communications and implement corrective action plans.
- Work according to business procedures, completing tasks efficiently and effectively.
- Handle escalated issues by utilising problem-solving skills and communication skills to effectively resolve customer inquiries in a timely manner.
- Communicate across all mediums.
- Resolve all client issues courteously and in a timely manner.
- Liaise with relevant departments regarding technical product issues.
- Intervene when necessary to aid the group in resolving issues.
- Matric (Grade 12) and experience in providing technical customer support requiredOR
- Newly electrical/electronic engineering graduate (diploma or degree), electrician certification.
- Experience in the solar and electrical industry is advantageous.
- Available to work shifts and standby shifts when required (weekdays and weekends).
