Where will the successful candidate fit in?

Based within the Marketing Department in our Consumer Division and reporting to the Consumer Marketing Team Leader, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing campaign activations within our marketing team..

Job Duties:

Marketing Activations
  • Planning of marketing activations which includes engaging with FNOs and finding suitable locations.
  • Coordinating of Sales/Promotions Teams are ready for each event.
  • Attending promotions and activations - overseeing promotions activity for all relevant areas.
  • Coordinate the planning of and attending events with Marketing Team to promote the company brand.
  • Documenting activities by taking pictures which will be used for social media purposes.
Marketing Merchandise Management
  • Coordinate the sourcing of quotations and final production of branded items such as stationery, merchandise, flyers, brochures, and all exhibition-related material.
  • Collecting promotional material and transporting marketing material to promotions teams in planned areas.
  • Preparing and distribution of the required marketing material for all new focus areas campaigns and activations.
  • Recording and tracking of all marketing stock and ensuring, along with relevant stakeholders, that all stock is ordered in advance.
Research & reporting
  • Conduct research to devise innovative and improved marketing strategies for brand promotion as well as any other research that may be required. Regular reporting on campaign activations and marketing events.
Digital and Social Media
  • Coordinate the creation of digital and social media assets for RSAWEB campaigns, i.e. brief into studio.
  • Create and coordinate social content plan for campaign activations, so that on the ground activities are reflected online social media channels
  • Learn to create website pages on WordPress.
Stakeholder engagement
  • Engaging with FNOs in planning and execution of activations.
  • Pricing corrections and checks on FNO portals.
  • Communication with relevant internal stakeholders
Adhoc
  • Helping to create, maintain and update promotions and marketing databases as required.
  • Coordinate communications to customers via email and sms marketing
  • Collecting and collating data from market research surveys in new areas.
  • Any other reasonable marketing tasks.
Requirements
  • Tertiary level qualification in Public Relations, Marketing or similar
  • At least 2 years' experience in Marketing Activations/Promotions environment
  • Minimum of 1 year in a Coordinator capacity
  • Minimum of 1 year in management of website and social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Google Reviews) or the willingness to learn
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good computer literacy skills
  • Willing to work on weekends
  • Driver's License is required
