The key purpose of this role requires one to be self-motivated and capable of achieving high-levels of accurate reporting and meeting deadlines, whilst building strong relationships with internal customers and providing insights for decision making on capital investments. You must have a pro-active mind-set, be flexible in a fast-moving environment and have excellent interpersonal skills with all seniority levels. The successful candidate will have the chance to make enhancements to current processes and ways of working. The Capex Leader is responsible for analysing business models and provide advise for capital investments, timely analysis and reporting of actuals, forecasted LE for projects as well as ensuring that all projects have been executed within Capex compliance. The candidate must be able to provide project information & control through reliable timeous communication and integration to our internal customers during all stages of projects life cycle.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Country Capex approval
- Development of annual Capex budgets: periodic planning (1YP and 3YP)
- Manage the overall country Capex portfolio and be able to suggest trade-offs to fund unplanned projects
- Capex payment releases
- Project cash-flow by allocated region
- Monthly Tracking, Monitoring and alignment routines with in-country finance teams; including FDs
- Financial results
- Latest Estimate (LE) Monthly Capitalization versus Actual
- Work with Package Owners and Implementation Co-ordinators to ensure individual project optimization detailed business case review as well as value engineering
- Individual Project Commitment Control
- Capitalization of assets and follow up Risks & Actions
- Site Visits & Project follow-ups
- Strategic reports of country capex portfolio aligned to business strategy
- Graduate qualification in one or a combination of Finance and Engineering
- Project Management experience will be an advantage
- Understanding of the manufacturing process of beer and/or soft drinks will be a distinct advantage
- A good understanding of, and expertise in either optimization, operations, finance or continuous improvement
