IR Specialist
The IR Specialist will be responsible for supporting IR/HR Internal disciplinary, grievance and Incapacity hearings and CCMA cases as well as section 189s
Industrial Relations
- Ensure disciplinary code is implemented fairly throughout CapitaSA.
- Handle potential IR queries/problems before it causes dissent.
- Ensure an effective IR climate prevails with fair practices within CapitaSA.
- Provide Line Management with effective and latest IR advice and support.
- Update the business and train Line Managers on new legislation that must be implemented.
- Represent company at CCMA & Labour Court when required.
- Responsible for handling and resolving of staff grievances (salary, wages, unfair practices etc.)
- Maintain shared online IR tracker.
- Provide weekly/monthly reports.
- Facilitate meetings if required.

Minimum Qualification:
- Grade 12 and a completed tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Industrial Relations or equivalent relevant tertiary qualification
- 5 years experience in a Labour/Industrial Relations position
- Experience within the Call centre/ BPO will be to your advantage.
- Large/complex union negotiations
- Multi-union experience
- Behavioural and cultural change experience
- Ability to effectively interact with Colleagues at all levels of the Company.

This position does not have a supervisory/management responsibility.
