About the role The position aims to enhance claims operational excellence, boost customer satisfaction, and minimize losses for Capitec Insurance. This will be achieved through accurate and comprehensive assessment of non-medical claims (including Life, Funeral, and Credit Life Insurance) in accordance with policy terms and conditions, South African legislative frameworks, and the goals, objectives, processes, and standards set by Capitec Life.
Our ideal candidate has:
- Grade 12 National Certificate.
- Minimum of 3 years of functional/practical experience in funeral and/or life insurance claims assessment.
- Experience in stakeholder management and client engagement.
- Understanding of the long-term insurance industry and claims handling processes.
- Over 3 years of experience working with funeral and life insurance products.
- Knowledge of the relevant legal framework relating to funeral and life insurance claims.
