Role Purpose
Provide support to the Cash and Liquidity team by managing the group's cash and liquidity resources with a focus on liquidity planning and the optimisation of the liquidity profile to support group earnings.
Requirements
- Qualified CA (SA) or CFA studying towards an international treasury qualification
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or related
- 3 - 5 years' experience in a Treasury or Finance environment
- Monitoring and management of the daily cash management and liquidity management processes.
- Preparation of management and board committee reports.
- Perform cashflow forecasts and variance analysis for the group.
- Cash analytics to enhance cash returns on surplus funds.
- Understand the cash generation of the group and provide projections to enhance the management of liquidity.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance cash management efficiencies, including increasing cash visibility and cash coverage.
- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary expert teams including group tax, funding, and capital management to optimise the liquidity position of the group.
- Provide authoritative, expertise and advice to clients and stakeholders.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.
- Deliver on service level agreements made with internal and external stakeholders and clients
