We are looking for an experienced cashier to join our small cashier team in Kimberley, Northern Cape.
Job responsibilities:
- Reconciling payments taken by all payment methods across our Enterprises’ Retail outlets.
- You will also be responsible for raising awareness of any discrepancies and keeping accurate records of transactions.
- Ideally you will have gained experience cashing-up and reconciling all payments as your main role, for a high-volume retail outlet, demonstrating accuracy and trust-worthiness.
Job requirements:
- Please note this is not a retail assistant role, but is based in our Cash Office. You must have previous substantial experience reconciling daily takings.
- Must have excellent numeracy skills.
- Previous experience in a position of trust.
- Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ability to use your initiative.
- Be flexible, punctual, with excellent time management skills.
- Work accurately, with great attention to detail.
- Be competent in MS Excel and Outlook, as well as be familiar with EPOS systems.
- Show great communication skills and work well in a team.
