You will perform detailed finance work, transactions and data structuring under the guidance of the Finance Manager. You will collect data, be responsible for maintaining information integrity, monitor reconciliations and conduct basic checks and controls.

How You Will Contribute

You will:
  • Execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modeling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will also execute data collection and data integrity checks
  • Contribute to a strong controls and compliance environment in area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
  • Execute ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by the Senior Finance Manager (or Director)
  • Support projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of your Finance peers

How You Will Contribute

You will:
  • Manage and execute aspects of finance planning and performance management process and related financial decisions potentially including Strategic Plan and Annual Contract planning/forecasting, target development, financial performance reporting/analysis, financial modelling and decision support for a focused scope within a region, business unit, country, Supply Chain, Mondelz International Business Services or Corporate Finance team. You will own data collection and verify data integrity
  • Ensure a strong controls and compliance environment in your area of scope and ensure full compliance with our policies
  • Manage month end reporting of category P&Ls including commentary
  • Help the senior manager and the business prepare critical financial data and insight that facilitate business strategy changes and decisions
  • Lead projects to improve efficiencies and improvements to ways of working and embrace a mindset of continuous improvement. This includes new Innovation financial assessments, manage the A&C budgets and actuals and be a business partner to the local Marketing Team
  • Influence and perform financial modelling regarding pricing
  • Support and lead 9 box analysis as and when regional submissions are due
  • Support the finance digital ambition
  • Support the local FD, MD as required
  • Contribute to a high-performing Finance team. You will also invest in personal development and the development of Finance peers and drive our Finance talent agenda within the organization, with a focus on local FP&A pipeline

  • TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in financial planning and performance management including data collection and structuring, analyzing, planning and reporting company financial performance across all financial KPIs and investment decisions and cost management to achieve financial targets. Preferable completed or near completion of CIMA/ACCA qualification.
  • BUSINESS ACUMEN and understanding of our business, consumer packaged goods industry, and local snacking market dynamics. Relevant experience in a regional/local business
  • LEADERSHIP SKILLS including experience with business partnering and communication skills across a large regional or local public company
  • GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to identify/execute opportunities and leverage technology to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness
  • INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values and policies and external regulations
Education / Certifications:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics with CIMA or CA(SA) Qualification or working towards the qualification
  • 4 6 years in a similar role within FMCG or Manufacturing Environment
Job specific requirements:
  • Should ideally have worked for a multinational company
  • Proficient Excel / Power BI skills
  • SAP and Hyperion experience advantageous
  • Must be able to process large quantities of data in short spaces of time
  • Strong business and interpersonal savvy.
  • Process Management.
