A temporary (3 month) position has just become available for a Human Resource Practioner with the following :
Degree/Diploma in Human Resource Management
3 – 5 year related experience as an HR Generalist. Knowledge of the Labour Relations Act, the Basic Conditions of Employment and other related laws impacting on Human Resources within the organisation Knowledge of Labour Legislation Knowledge of SAP System advantageous Computer literacy Knowledge of Employment Equity and Skills Development Acts Negotiation skills Ability to interact with multiple stakeholders with very strong and diverse views Customer Relations Assertiveness Conflict Handling Diplomacy Planning and forecasting Integrity Honest Ability to work under pressure Good Communicator Self Motivated Patience and a good listener.
Operating systems SAP, Knowledge of Labour relations act is critical as the incumbent is expected to interview the Agents and facilitate process throughout the organisation.
Assist in reviewing of HR budget twice per annum and provide motivation if extra money is required.
Adherence to the approved budget
Ensure that there is a budget available before any invoice can be paid
Raise, release and approve purchase requisitions and purchase orders on SAP system
Ensure payment of invoices timeously.
Ensure that Services seta re-emberse the money spent on training for the organisation after submission of Annual training Report and Work place skills plan.
Ensure consultation, Completion, and Submission of WSP and ATR report to Services Seta before due date
Ensure the formation of the Employment Equity and Skills Development committee.
Arrange training for Employment Equity and Skills Development Committee
Serves as a Secretary and SDF for the committee
Arrange quarterly meetings
Ensure that vacancy request form is completed and signed by relevant managers/supervisors before any vacancy can be advertised
Advertise vacancies internally and external
Screening of CV’s and shortlisting
Set up interviews and invite candidates
Headhunting if required
Conduct interviews as a member of the panel/HR representative.
Prepare interview report for signature by all members of the panel
Conduct credit , criminal, qualification and reference checks
Prepares an Offer for signing by the National secretary
Send regret letters to unsuccessful candidates
Develop and monitor implementation of standard operating procedures.
Recent small head & shoulders pic, last salary slip, copy ID
Salary market related, depending on experience
Between R20 000 – R35 000
