Centurion: SOLAR PROJECT MANAGER (ELECTRICAL ENGINEER)
Minimum Requirements:
-Well presentable and professional male
-Fully bilingual with strong English proficiency
-Matric / Grade 12
-Minimum BTech or relevant Engineering Degree a must
-2 to 15 years Project- and Site Management experience in SOLAR INDUSTRY A MUST (KEY REQUIREMENT)
-Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
-Non smoker preferred
-Excellent Interpersonal Skills
-Hands on, and willing to work at all levels
-Business acumen and strong client focus
-Ability to understand complex technical and financial setups
-Interested by the energy sector and the green technologies
-Use of personal car preferable (for external meetings – petrol costs to be reimbursed)
-Computer literate
-Stable employment record
-Contactable references
-To start as soon as possible
Duties:
-Ensure Project Management activities for Solar projects installation
-Contribute to all other key processes linked with delivery including sales, supply chain management and O&M
-Report to the Manager and Directors.
-Project manage 4 decent sized PV projects (100kW to 10 MW installations) at the same time.
-Subcontractor management.
-Lead on project planning.
-Manage on-site project delivery activities.
-Ensure communication with suppliers, clients and other stakeholders.
-Assist in improving Supply Chain Management.
-Lead Quality Control and de-snagging effort
-Supervise on site technicians during O&M activities
-Contribute to sales support thanks to design work and business development initiatives
-Uphold and Promote Company Values Attributes
Salary: Negotiable depending on relevant experience
