Unilevers Data and Analytics (D&A) Market teams will lead the path for the business to become data intelligent. The team will do this by delivering advanced products at scale, enabling functions and leadership teams to turn data into insights, actions and decisions at a faster pace than ever before to achieve competitive edge.

Each Market team consisting of technical (data engineering and science) expertise as well as functional insight generation expertise (e.g. Finance, Consumer Market Insights, Customer Development) will collaborate with other business function teams. The collaboration ensure that insights discovered locally are joined up and enhanced with globally discovered or researched insights to yield recommendations aimed at driving business growth.

Unilever top leadership is looking at D&A Market teams to power the exponential business growth in an in increasingly VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) context. It is imperative that D&A Market teams are organised to be highly adaptive and flexible to demand, fast-changing priorities and emerging opportunities. To deliver this, the team is expected to have an agile mindset i.e. able to embrace uncertainty, ambiguity, and to create structure out of chaos.

There Are Five Major Themes In The Data And Analytics Global Strategy That Will Relate To The Work Of D&A Market Teams
  • Deliver Intelligent systems at scale. Powering the business through data and analytics. Building out the right applications to enable business teams to move faster, with more accurate and future looking decisions leveraging on Big Data & Data Science.
  • Winning disproportionately. Creating analytics products that make a significant impact on our business and drive competitive advantage in the market, while collaborating appropriately with other markets and Global teams (i.e. winning both locally and globally).
  • Drive Unilever to assisted and predictive decision-making. The future is about assisted decision-making with machines (AI/Cognitive Computing/Machine Learning) unlocking the insights from vast deluge of consumer, customer & internal data, and presenting this in a way that is simple for our teams.
  • Make data a true asset. Better data and data science access for every part of Unilever, across the 3 data framework (Connectivity, Growth, Continuous Improvement) and leading through the Enterprise Data Executive.
  • World-class Information. One version of the facts. Continued excellence in delivery of diagnostics and insights to focus attention when and where it matters with a focus on Big Bets, Strategic Initiatives and Leadership team reporting
Teams Responsibilities

Managing the markets demand for data, analytics and insights. It will lead data analytics, data warehousing, research development and implementation of appropriate data systems and analytic solutions.

JOB PURPOSE

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

Developing, leading and executing change and communications activities associated with the products & services delivered by the team.

Key Accountabilities
  • Initiate the creation of and monitor the D&A Market teams change and communications programme as well as the UniOPS in Market programme.
  • Advise and support UniOPS in Market Lead, D&A Market Lead and team in developing and executing change and communications activities.
  • Support in communication of the teams products and services
  • Provide and maintain the change management plan in line with Unilever Change Management methodology.
  • Ensure alignment of all change and communications plans to D&A Global, UniOps, and Market plans.
  • Execute ongoing stakeholder assessment & stakeholder management plan.
  • Execute change management strategy, plan and change impact assessment.
  • Execute communications strategy and plan.
  • Develop and distribute appropriate communication materials (e.g. stakeholder updates, newsletters).
Essential

Experiences & Qualifications
  • Holder of a Degree in Corporate Communications, Organizational Change Management or equivalent from a recognized institution
  • 5+ years of change and communications experience in a frontline/service delivery team
  • Experience of leading and implementing change and communications and technology transformation programmes
  • Understanding and practice of Detailed Change Impact Assessments
  • Experience with Stakeholder Mapping and Engagement
  • Experience of project management
  • Excellent Organizational and Planning Skills
  • Excellent Communication, Writing Skills
  • Excellent Presentation Skills
  • Excellent Workshop Planning Skills
  • Good Multimedia experience - ability to put together visually appealing Communication deliverables (from posters and 1-page briefs to perhaps shot clips and videos.
