WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
- Overseeing the daily operations of both the accommodation and Food & Beverage (F&B) departments, ensuring a smooth and seamless guest experience.
- Managing and developing the housekeeping team to ensure accommodation areas are clean, comfortable, and meet the highest service standards.
- Ensuring that guest rooms and public areas are maintained to a 5-star standard, with attention to detail in cleanliness, comfort, and functionality.
- Overseeing the maintenance of the property, promptly addressing any maintenance issues, and ensuring they are reported and resolved in a timely manner.
- Reporting directly to the Charles Hope Senior Management Team and working closely with both the kitchen and service teams to ensure high-quality dining options are available.
- Managing the F&B team, including recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development.
- Monitoring and ensuring the highest standards of guest service, food quality, and presentation across all areas.
- Implementing and refining operational strategies for both accommodation and F&B to maximize guest satisfaction and operational efficiency.
- Managing budgets for accommodation, F&B, and maintenance, ensuring cost control, inventory management, and adherence to financial targets.
- Handling guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly, ensuring satisfaction and resolution of issues.
- Regularly inspecting accommodations to ensure they meet service standards and taking corrective actions if necessary.
- Preparing regular reports on service performance, maintenance, guest feedback, and other key metrics for the Senior Management Team.
- Proven experience in a hospitality management role, with a strong focus on overseeing both accommodation and F&B operations.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience in managing diverse teams (housekeeping, F&B, maintenance).
- A strong eye for detail and a commitment to ensuring that accommodation and guest services consistently meet the highest standards.
- Proven experience in managing property maintenance and ensuring a well-maintained environment for guests.
- Ability to build strong relationships with guests and team members, creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks while ensuring smooth operations
- Proficiency with hospitality management software, POS systems, and MS Office.
- Strong knowledge of hospitality industry trends, best practices, and service standards.
- A guest-oriented mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service at all touchpoints of the guest experience.
