Job Purpose
Contribute to design and lead implementation of Finance strategy in the area to maintain short and long-term financial health, and partner, advise and challenge the management team in line with country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework and accounting standards.
Differentiator
Lead the Finance function for Hillebrand Gori atSub-Saharan Africa area.
Establish and implement strategies that have long-term (5+ years) impact on business results in alignment with global objectives and directly impacting the organizations business strategy.
Key Tasks
- Contribute to the definition of the Finance strategy inSub-Saharan Africaarea including all financial management services, planning, analysis, reporting and budgets considering country business strategy, financial policies, legal framework and accounting standards
- Lead, plan, organize and deliver Finance initiatives, services and processes to achieve financial transparency, maintain short and long-term financial health, and advise the management team
- Ensure comprehensive, transparent and timely financial reporting at all times
- Ensure adherence to Group Compliance framework including financial control procedures
- Act as Business Partner
- Proactively engage with functional counterparts to ensure budget delivery (profit, working capital, cash flow, net debt).
- Drive continuous improvement for Finance processes & tools
Stakeholders
- Negotiate critical agreements/contracts with other departments and 3rd parties
- Develop strong, trusting relationships with senior business leaders across the company and partner organizations
- Influence others across the company and externally as an internally and externally recognized thought leader representing the Company
- Champion cooperation and partnership to provide integrated solutions to problems
Management Responsibility
- Lead multiple teams of executives, directors/senior managers, and managers
- Ensure appropriate talent selection, organization and leadership for major areas of the organization
Knowledge, skills required
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Finance, Accounting, Controlling, or equivalent qualification.
- Approximately 8-12 years experience in Controlling / Finance Management roles.
- Experience working within international organization / group.
- Experience with managing a team.
- A solid base of technical finance and accounting skills combined with finance business partnering competencies.
- Professional command of English language
