ENVIRONMENT:
Our client, a cutting-edge Tech Group, serving clients in the USA, Europe, and the UK, is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer to join their team. The CMO is part of the company's leadership team focused on Marketing Activities. This role will play a fundamental role in how the company grows over the coming years and will offer a fantastic opportunity to not only help further scale the companys existing products but also influence new content. This is a strategic role that brings together the various pillars of Marketing but will require someone who is also able and willing to get stuck in, contribute practically, influence action and drive performance.
DUTIES:
Role Responsibilities & expectations:
- Responsible for Marketing, including:
- Performance Marketing across multiple channels including Facebook, Google, Networks & ASO
- Brand/positioning and Product Marketing
- Creative Services production of well-fitting and high-performing creatives
- Platform relations (i.e., Apple & Google)
- Community Management (including social media and influencer activity)
- Ownership of all existing Customer Touchpoints
- Promotional and Communication Strategy Planning and Execution
- Automation and Journey Structure Definition
- Brand/positioning and Product Marketing
- Working closely with the Creative Studio to ensure production of well-fitting and high-performing creatives.
- Work with the leadership team to agree high-level Marketing strategy/plans and goals/targets that drive profit and complement business objectives.
- Set the overall strategy for Marketing to keep being ahead of competitors in terms of functional expertise, tracking and marketing systems.
- Develop/review/refine Marketing strategies for each site including product positioning, pillars, campaign roadmaps and media/channel mix with a view to increasing ROI.
- Reporting of Marketing performance to the leadership team.
- Guardian of the Companys corporate image.
- Lead, coach, develop and support direct and in-direct reports.
- Manage the creative process and balance this with business needs.
- Leadership experience > 5 years.
- Experience of brand strategy and marketing campaigns, including communications.
- Technical understanding of tracking and reporting systems.
- Analytical competencies / mindset.
- Strong problem solving and organisational skills.
- Growth focussed, goal oriented individual.
- Able and willing to lead from the front, getting hands on as required.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- A diplomatic and professional approach, able to gather and share information in an energetic and inclusive manner, while dealing effectively with challenging situations.
- A people person who enjoys managing teams and cares about their teams welfare, as well as their output.
