Chief Technology Officer

Our client is looking for a Chief Technology Officer.

Responsibilities
  • Technological Strategy
  • Develop and communicate the company's technology strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional team members to align technology initiatives with business goals.
  • Advocate for the adoption of innovative solutions to drive digital transformation initiatives.
  • Stay abreast of technology trends and emerging technologies, assessing their relevance to the business, and recommending innovative solutions.
  • Forge strategic partnerships with technology vendors, startups, and industry leaders to explore new business opportunities.
  • Leadership
  • Lead and manage the technology team, including software developers, data scientists, business analysts, and other IT professionals.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and resources to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Create and manage technology budgets, allocating resources optimally to support various initiatives while maintaining financial discipline.
  • Technical Management
  • Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of the companys technology infrastructure, systems, and networks.
  • Ensure alignment of print operations and systems to enhance the integrated service offering to clients.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and budgets to assess technological performance.
  • Assess technical risks and develop a business continuity plan.
  • Evaluate the profitability and efficiency of technology investments.
  • Product Platforms
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of technology products and systems aligned with business goals, such as DAM and PIMS.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
  • Drive new product launches or feature updates, demonstrating the companys commitment to innovation.
  • Ensure the efficient utilization of platforms and systems across the business to derive ROI.
  • Systems
  • Manage the system infrastructure to ensure functionality and efficiency.
  • Achieve technological excellence by identifying opportunities for the integration of key systems and securing operational synergies.
  • Develop solutions by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to track additional requirements and features.
  • Drive continuous improvement.
  • Business Intelligence
  • Design data structures to enable optimal data mining abilities.
  • Identify patterns and relationships within large amounts of data to predict future trends and make strategic recommendations.
  • Determine reasons behind past successes or failures through data analysis.
  • Identify outliers and anomalies in the data.
  • Turn data into actionable insights to minimize risk, increase revenue, discover new markets, and understand consumer behavior.
  • Build AI tools to automate business processes.
  • Use statistical techniques and programming software to create algorithms and predictive models.
  • IT
  • Implement best practices for IT operations and data management to ensure reliability, security, and scalability.
  • Ensure robust cybersecurity measures across the organisation's digital landscape.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and protect sensitive data.
  • Minimize system downtime.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations.
  • Research and Development
  • Lead research efforts to explore and evaluate new technologies, methodologies, and tools to enhance products, services, and processes.
  • Foster a culture of innovation within the technology team and across the organisation.
  • Keep abreast of developments in technology, processes, and equipment.
  • Project Management
  • Manage all technological projects.
  • Make quick decisions and solve technical problems for efficient project implementation.
  • Present project statuses to stakeholders.
  • Communication
  • Communicate with employees, stakeholders, and clients to ensure the companys technologies are used appropriately.
  • Manage change and effectively disseminate information to concerned teams for smoother execution.
