Claims Consultant with minimum 3 years’ Personal Lines AND Commercial Claims experience in the short term insurance industry, required to start asap.
Minimum requirements:
- Grade 12 essential
- NQF4 Full short term insurance qualification
- RE5 essential
- Minimum 3-5 years’ claims handling experience – PL & Commercial essential
- DOFA confirmation from FSB
- Ski/Genasys experience advantageous
Responsibilities:
- Full claims function – PL & Commercial
- Register claims and appoint assessors
- Manage claims ito claims SLA
- Decision making re merit – indemnify or not
- Negotiate settlement
- Manage salvage process
- Detection of fraud and management of fraudulent indicators
- Keep operational system updated
- Provide feedback to all stakeholders
- Complaints resolution
