Role Objectives
To Manage all specialised claims assigned, within the set standards required by the company thus contributing to the productivity of the claims department. Ensure all technical aspects for claims settlement are adhered to and Contribute to the growth and profitability of Hollard.
Key Responsibilities
- Specialised C&E claims; process all claims for corporate brokers and assist with the processing of large and complex losses.
- Assist with large loss notifications to ensure correct and timeous completion and distribution. Ensure large loss estimate are timeously raised. Assist with stakeholder management on large and complex losses. Diary management to support management of loss adjusters and other experts appointed on large and complex losses.
- Risk Management: Assist by communicating post loss findings to underwriting to support in reviews of bad risks, adverse findings and multi claimants.
- Problem solving: Assist Large Loss team leader with complex problems while ensuring adherence to standards & objectives.
- Reporting: Provide necessary reporting on financial and operational indicators relating to large and complex claims. Provide feedback (reporting) to senior management on achievements, pending issues, problems, and suggested recommendations.
- Decision making: To make recommendations and take decisions on technical functions within mandate.
- Customer service: Technical advice and other assistance over and above the normal claims duties.
