About The Role

As Claims Supply Chain Manager, you'll be responsible for the sourcing and performance management of all allocated claims suppliers, ensuring delivery of agreed financial and customer service targets. As a supply chain expert, you'll also carry out due diligence checks.

At AXA we work smart, this role is non-office based meaning you can predominantly work from home or if in a field based role, you'll travel to visit offices or client sites as required.

What You'll Be Doing

Own sourcing and technical evaluation of new tenders, using the best practice tender process when selecting appropriate suppliers.

Carry out materiality assessments and due diligence checks for new third-party administrators (TPA) & Suppliers.

Agree supplier key performance indicators and ensure consistency during contract negotiations.

Work in partnership with suppliers, helping to build a best in class proposition in line with our claims strategy.

Benchmark and analyse supplier performance by using MI reports as well as customer and operational feedback, helping deliver improvements when needed.

Conduct and document periodic reviews with suppliers including any service issues and appropriate remedies for service failures. Set up regular review meetings.

Develop a detailed understanding of the supply market to identify opportunities for innovation and submit proposals to operational management team.

Line management responsibility of up to two delegates.

About You

What were looking for:

Detailed knowledge of the insurance claims supply market and processes.

Previous experience within the Claims function is essential with experience of supply chain management beneficial.

Excellent commercial acumen and understanding of creative business development techniques.

Business planning and project management knowledge.

Previous experience of working closely with intermediary partners.

Evidence of innovative thinking and effective change management.

Ability to take decisions which will have significant impact on the overall operation.

Excellent relationship management skills.

Great networking skills.
