• ability to adhere to St Mary's Child Safety Policy and Code of Conduct and other policies relevant to Ministerial Order 1359
• current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching with an up to date Criminal Record check
• an ability to develop and maintain respectful and caring relationships with students, families and colleagues
• an understanding and demonstrated use of evidence based best practice
• a capacity to use data to make informed decisions about learning and teaching
• accreditation to teach Religious Education in a Catholic School is desirable (or be willing to study for accreditation)
