Requirements
Matric and or equivalent education.
3 to 5 years’ cleaning and or sanitation experience.
Strong attention to detail.
Good communication skills.
Maintain a positive attitude and focus on the overall high standards of cleanliness required.
Able to work independently and in a team.
Willing to work 8 hours per day including public holidays and weekends. (If required)
Duties and Responsibilities
· Perform routine cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, surfaces, and facilities according to established procedures and schedules
· Work with production and quality control teams to ensure that all cleaning tasks are performed in a timely and efficient manner to minimize downtime
· Follow established protocols for handling, storing, and disposing of cleaning materials and chemicals
· Communicate effectively with QC and colleagues to ensure that cleaning tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner
· Prepare uniform for cleaning, Sorting and distribution and ensure that all the dispensers are filled and maintained.
· Perform routine cleaning of offices (floors, walls, doors, windows and surfaces) and Canteen areas (sanitary towels, toilet basins, lockers, tables and stairs).
· Perform general housekeeping (wiping of fire extinguishers, window frames, pipes and plugs)
· Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify and report any damage or maintenance issues
· Any other ad hoc duties that may be required for operational requirements.
