These individuals build a trusting relationship with the Company's private wealth clients, fostering confidence and goodwill with these clients thereby understanding them and meeting their needs with the products and services offered.
Client Relationship Specialists conduct client reviews with clients in order to assess the products they currently have while
assessing their current needs and making recommendation where possible.
Key areas of responsibility will include but not be limited to:
- Attending to all existing client queries and request timeously and professionally thereby offering the highest levels of service.
- Handling, maintenance and tracking of all leads received by the Wealth Specialist team such that these leads are contacted and followed up within the Company's set timelines.
- Maintenance, reconciliation and submission of the Wealth team's daily recon template and daily figures
- Making and confirming of appointments with the Wealth Specialist as well as ensuring they have the correct paperwork for all set appointments and all reviews
- Checking of all deal packs and will applications to ensure that they are completed correctly and in full then submitted to the Regional Administration Manager for final checking.
- Assistance in attending to any outstanding requirements to complete any deal.
- Ensure that the Company is always compliant with regards to the regulations of the FSCA and the FAIS Act;
- Strong and fundamental understanding and knowledge of Financial Markets, Securities and Financial Instruments being
- Equities, Fixed Income, Bonds, Listed Property & Cash Instruments as well as Local and Foreign Investment Schemes.
- A good understanding of local and global economic fundamentals.
- Recognized FSCA tertiary qualification. If the Employee has not been on an FSP license prior to their appointment with the Employer, then they will have 6 years from Date of First Appointment (DOFA) to successfully complete a recognized qualification.
- A completed Postgraduate Diploma in Financial Planning (PGDFP) would be advantageous. An in-progress completion of the above will also be considered advantageous.
- Written and passed the Representative (RE5) Exam and is currently on an FSP's license as a Representative giving advice and providing an intermediary service. If the Employee has not been on an FSP license prior to their appointment with the Employer, then they will have 2 years from Date of First Appointed DOFA to successfully complete the abovementioned Exam.
- 2-5 years experience as a Private Client Wealth/Relationship Manager, with experience in high and ultra-high net wealth investment advisory and planning, financial planning and estates planning.
- Class of Business training completed as per Company and FSCA requirements.
- Has been licensed for the following subcategories on a Category 1 FSP license (can be under supervision for selected sub-categories): 1.3., 1.20., 1.4., 1.5., 1.8., 1.9., 1.10., 1.11., 1.12., 1.14., 1.17., 1.18.
- Valid Driver's License.
