Aon South Africa is recruiting a Private Client Service Consultant, based on a hybrid basis from our offices in Pretoria. The role of the private client service consultant, as the primary point of contact with clients, is to manage and grow and administer a portfolio of high net worth clients in line with the MOS and company growth strategies.

What The Day Will Look Like
- Determine and understand the needs of high net worth individuals in respect of short-term insurance.
- Building and maintaining relationships with the existing client base.
- Building and maintaining relationships with new clients as they are allocated to the portfolio.
- Maintaining extensive client servicing via frequent client contact.
- Maintenance of comprehensive servicing of client policies, including, renewals, general endorsements, premium queries, premium collections, rejections in line with the MOS and underwriting criteria.
- Providing professional and accurate advice with regards to cover needs, policy conditions and exclusions where necessary.
- Upsell Homeowners cover to combined portfolios.
- Growing revenue on existing business.
- Retention of existing client base.
- Negotiating cover and rates with insurers on behalf of clients.
- Ensuring that allocated portfolio runs profitably by adhering strictly to the underwriting criteria.
- Claims liaison including assisting clients with first notification of loss.
- Collaborating closely and developing relationships with colleagues across the business and other key role players in the High Net worth environment.
- Responsible for compliant dealings with clients.
- Responsible for engaging in business development and/or contributing directly or indirectly to all business development efforts in Aon South Africa.

Qualifications.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
- Grade 12. (Matric).
- A relevant bachelors degree.
- A relevant tertiary insurance related qualification would be preferable.
- Registration as a representative with the FSCA in terms of the FAIS ACT.
- Sophisticated knowledge and understanding of all aspects of personal insurance.
- Knowledge of market trends within the insurance industry.
- Knowledge of competitor products.
- Sophisticated knowledge of MS Word and Excel.
- Well-developed team functioning skills.
- Good interpersonal relationships.
- Advanced analytical, technical and problem-solving skills.
- Well-developed decision-making skills.
- Well-developed ability to work in and with teams.
- A proven experience in a similar or related role.
- Experience in dealing with high net worth clients will be preferred.
