Johnson & Johnson is currently seeking a Clinical Sales Specialist to join our Biosense Webster Team located in Gauteng.
Account Management
To effectively implement the sales strategy for the territory and ensure that sales objectives are met
in a precise and compliant manner. To construct, propose and monitor comprehensive and proactive
account plans that will develop both sales and expertise within each account.
TERRITORY PLANNING AND SALES OBJECTIVE SETTING
To track & analyse the sales progress vs monthly, quarterly and annual objectives so that gaps may be
identified for growth to be achieved. To establish specific sales objectives by account, based on
competitive activity and maximum upgrade potential.
CLINICAL SUPPORT
Responsible for executing specific customer development and training plans by providing full clinical
support to all accounts in the territory. Acquire, maintain & use product knowledge & application for
all products & procedures including competitor products
DAILY ACTIVITY
To maintain daily sales and clinical support activity in line with Strategic plans
Responsibilities
- Full adoption of Sales Force effectiveness tools
- Apply customer facing plan Call rate, call frequency
- Ensure completion of all SOP/WI SUMMIT/Axonify training
- Ensure adherence to all company rules on Safe Fleet, Business Quality, Health Care
Required to travel 40% - 1 x per week / Overnight stay
Qualifications
Must be able to travel at short notice
Experience Within The Cardiovascular And/ Or Electrophysiology Environment Essential
Medical sales experience, preferably within a hospital environment, with shown sales target
achievements, desirable but not required.
Fluent in English both verbal and written communication.
Excellent listening skills. Ability to build positive relationships quickly.
Have the capacity to gain in-depth product and procedure knowledge and the ability to communicate
effectively with every level of the hospital hierarchy.
Must be self-disciplined, organised, and be able to take ownership and responsibility for business
objectives and your own time management
Must be highly motivated and the desire to succeed in a demanding role.
Proven, consistent track record in developing key customer relationships.
Team player and entrepreneurial problem solver.
Ability to positively influence thinking, behaviour and gain dedication.
