The Role
BeyondTrust fights daily to secure identities, intelligently surface, and remediate threats, and deliver dynamic access to empower and protect organizations worldwide. To that end, BeyondTrust is building a highly skilled global Cloud Security Specialist team. We are seeking an experienced identity expert to join our pre-sales go-to-market team. The Cloud security specialist supports the Sales Engineering and sales teams and will bring expertise and authority when addressing our customers' identity security needs.
What Youll Do
- Deliver customer-facing technical product presentations & demonstrations to audiences, including C-level executives.
- Assist Pre-Sales Solution Engineering team in customer-facing Proof of Value engagements, providing identity security subject matter expertise.
- Provide high-quality threat briefings, reports, and customer presentations. Showcase actionable intelligence the BeyondTrust Solution provides and discuss the importance, remediation options, and prevention strategies.
- Develop strong advisory relationships with customers. Help BeyondTrust customers understand the threats and attacks they are exposed to and how the BeyondTrust platform and other tools and practices are used to remediate identity-based threats.
- Speak intelligently and expertly with customers about BeyondTrust's Identity Security Insights Detections, and recommendations surfaced during an Insights assessment.
- Align Insights Detections and Recommendations with the existing BeyondTrust portfolio.
- Work alongside Sales and Solution Engineering as the Specialist/Advisor supporting customers throughout the opportunity lifecycle and beyond.
- Set aside time to investigate and research breach details, attack paths, and methods used by threat actors.
- Articulate the value of the BeyondTrust solution, conveying the importance of vigilant monitoring of privileged identities compared to the cost of a corporate breach.
- Collaborate with internal teams to detect new threats and mitigation tactics based on hunting observations.
- Experience in a fast-paced, technical sales environment.
- Applicants should have at least five years of experience in technical roles involving XDR, PAM or IAM, Active Directory, Azure AD, MFA, SSO.
- Ability to explain highly technical concepts to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory architecture, including authentication mechanisms and potential security threats.
- Competitive understanding of Identity Security and ITDR market and landscape.
- Understand Cloud Identity & Security (Multi-Cloud IAM Accounts, Roles, Policies, Entitlements)
- Knowledge & understanding of modern threat attack methods, such as kerberoasting, MFA bombing
- Ability to articulate MITRE ATT&CK techniques and corresponding TTPs.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
- Background in application or cloud application development.
- Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet...
- Experience in Cyber Security, Identity Management, and or Governance solutions.
