We are a rapidly expanding national Padel business with clubs across Gauteng, Northwest, and the Western Cape. As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking dedicated and experienced Club Managers to oversee the day-to-day operations of each club. The Club Manager will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of the club, enhancing member experience, and driving the clubs growth and success.
About The Role
The Club Manager is responsible for the day-to-day management of the club, ensuring operational excellence, high levels of member satisfaction, and effective team management. Reporting to the National Operations Manager, the Club Manager will be the driving force
behind the clubs success, overseeing everything from staff management to facility maintenance, member engagement, and local marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
Oversee the daily operations of the Padel club, ensuring all facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Manage the clubs schedule, including opening and closing procedures, bookings, and event coordination.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Staff Management
Lead and manage the clubs staff, including the Front of House Hosts & coaches.
Create staff schedules and ensure adequate coverage for all club activities.
Provide training, support, and performance evaluations for all club staff.
Member Experience
Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment for all members and guests.
Manage and respond to member inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a timely and professional manner
Organise and oversee Padel leagues, tournaments, and other member events.
Basic Financial Management
Manage the clubs budget, including expense tracking, revenue reporting, and inventory management.
Oversee the pro-shop, including sales, stock levels, and product offerings.
Marketing & Community Engagement
Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local marketing strategies, including social media promotions and event marketing.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, sponsors, and community groups.
Promote club activities and events to increase membership and engagement.
Facility & Equipment Management
Ensure that all Padel courts, equipment, and facilities are well-maintained and in good working order.
Oversee the maintenance and cleanliness of the club, including court surfaces, nets, and common areas.
Coaching & Program Development
Develop and oversee coaching programs and schedules.
Provide coaching sessions as needed to members and ensure high-quality coaching
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
Experience in Sports Management, Business Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field (e.g. sports clubs, gyms, hospitality, events or similar).
Strong Leadership Skills With Experience Managing Teams.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
Padel or similar racket sports experience is a plus, especially if coaching.
Must have your own vehicle and be available at the club on-demand / on-call.
