CNC Programmer / Machinist

Plastic Injection Moulding company based in Pretoria has a vacancy for a CNC Programmer / Machinist with Edgecam experience Job Purpose: CNC Milling and Toolmaking

Skills And Knowledge Required

Program with EDGECAM software

Good knowledge of English

Grade 12 or similar qualification.

Knowledge and use of CNC Lathe, Mill and spark Eroder required

Knowledge and operation of manual Lathe, Mill, surface grinding and spark Eroder required

Must be able to read and interpret technical documents

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

Machine operating on CNC turning & milling machines

Machine operating on general turning & milling machines as well as surface grinding and spark erosion machines

Program with EDGECAM software

Responsible for performing all administration related maintenance functions correctly and timorously

Make sure and maintain tools in a good, clean and working order

To undertake all planned maintenance work as per schedules

To complete all specified work within the time limits

To make sure that all plant tools are kept in good and working order

General hand work required such as but not limited to welding, grinding, cutting etc.

General assistance and any and all tasks allocated by direct or indirect manager

Ensure workshop is clean at all times

Ensure machines are clean at all times

All tools must be packed away and all work areas must be neatened up prior to leaving
