Job Description
Position Purpose
Objective of this opportunity will be to leverage current educational content in real world scenarios in terms of IT service and support.
- Areas of focus are:Initial focus will be to provide first level support for Power BI and Power Platform.
- Understand the importance of best practice within the Power BI environments and its application.
- Partner with the other members of the ConnectSmart Team to gain working knowledge of our Microsoft suite, processes and tools utilized by the team to manage our environment. Software will also include but is not limited to JIRA, ServiceNOW, Lucid, Camtasia, and DocuSign.
- Shadow and collaborate with ConnectSmart team members to understand why best practice, processes and procedures are important, leading to creating and updating documentation of these processes with minimal supervision.
- Increase Power BI and Platform Technical knowledge and mange second level support.
- Provide first-level support for systems and services that meet or exceed Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Documentation of processes and procedures.
- Working across time zones.
- Able to work effectively with virtual teams.
- Must have a can-do attitude and be open to learn.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or related field.
- Any Microsoft O365, Power BI or Power Platform certifications.
- 1 year IT or customer support experience.
