FUNCTION: Finance
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Commercial Analyst to play a critical role in our commercial operations. The Commercial Analyst will be responsible for various data-related tasks, insights generation, pricing analysis, and commission management. This position requires a strong analytical mindset & attention to detail.
Primary Responsibilities:
As a Commercial Analyst you will:
- Develop and maintain pricing models to support pricing decisions
- Perform regular pricing reviews on the existing customer base to identify discrepancies, variances to contracted amounts and areas for optimisation.
- Work with the sales team to generate tiered pricing proposals to retain customers, increase deal flow and optimize revenues
- Review and approve pricing for existing customers based on agreed pricing models set out by the business.
- Regularly clean and maintain data integrity within Salesforce CRM
- Report on throughput and identify any blockages in the pipeline, conversion rates, success rates, and analyze and report on monthly movements through the pipeline (revenue estimates & time to value).
- Analyze and review the pipeline prioritization and make recommendations to drive time to value and optimize revenues
- Analyze sales pipeline data to provide insights and recommendations to leadership as required, and identify opportunities and potential areas for improvement.
- Evaluate and monitor the pipeline in Salesforce to ensure productivity of the sales team
- Review contracts & pricing for new business opportunities & ensure pricing aligns with the model set out by strategic finance.
- Oversee the commission structure for the sales team by ensuring account ownership is accurate in Salesforce and is updating the finance commission reports.
- Review and ensure compliance with traffic rules set out by the business & resolve disputes as required.
- Have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as an analyst or similar
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Have a highly developed attention to detail
- Are capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Have knowledge of pricing strategies and commercial operations
- Have the ability to work in a team environment

- Previous Salesforce experience advantageous
- Prior experience in sales or commercial analysis is a plus
