About the Role:

The Junior Commercial Controller will support the commercial controlling activities in the cluster of South Africa and SADEC countries in terms of monthly closing, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis. You will also be one point of contact for the internal stakeholders for financial analysis related to your competency area, and you will support the Business unit in case of ad hoc requests, questions and in the preparation of presentations.

Main Responsibilities:

Support the manager to prepare Budget, Forecasts and the related analysis and presentations, following the group guidelines

Report on P&L KPIs in a weekly and monthly basis (e.g., Weekly Sales, P&L package) for actual, budget and forecast

Maintain and update sales price list in SAP for billing in accordance with approved pricing structure and standard cost from our plants

Prepare Margin analysis by SKU, client and channels for Budget / Forecast / Actual per each market periodically to assess respective profitability on Ferrero Business

Prepare and distribute Monthly Reports and Sales Statistics and perform Monthly Variance & Gap Analysis against budget/operating plan

Monthly closure analysis in relation to her/his area of responsibility for all the P&L lines (Top Line, Trade Spend, COGS, Gross Margin and A&P, Supply chain and Overheads), variances against budget and last year

Assist and follow up special HQ/Regional/Local projects

Who we are looking for:

Degree in Economics, Business or Finance with a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience within a similar Financial Controlling roles

Advanced Knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Good knowledge of SAP, Hyperion and Essbase

Knowledge of business processes in FMCG industry

Detail oriented and able to multi-task with proven track record in problem solving

Commercial and analytical mindset

Good team player and effective in communication with different stakeholders
