What You Can Expect
The successful incumbent will be responsible for representing Cross Business Units in Country Cluster Southern Africa. Coordinates, leads and drives the Cross Business Units sales community in administrative needs, coaching, tools implementation, and team development, while actively engaging in customer-facing activities.
Duties will include the following:
- Promote the company's strategy, sustainability, and business development within the Country Cluster Southern Africa, fostering alignment among the Business Units
- Optimize processes, strategize and achieve sales targets and priorities, and foster seamless collaboration with other units to ensure efficient operations
- Foster cross Business Unit activities to leverage opportunities and effectively serve local customers
- Engage with Business Development/Sustainability community to implement critical projects and improve business-critical processes and services
- Support Market Area Africa leadership activities, Grow Europe 2.0. EMEA roadmap and Grow Africa 2.0
- Contribute to budgeting, target-agreement, and performance-appraisal processes for local sales team with Business Unit Management
- Promote initiatives aimed at improving KPIs, key account plans, and overall commercial excellence
- Foster collaboration, trust, agility, and continuous improvement, adhering to company values
- Facilitate the exchange of best practices with other Market Area/Country Clusters
What We Expect
- Masters Degree or equivalent qualification in relevant field
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and/or Market Development, coupled with at least 5 years of leadership and management experience
- Strong sales management skills
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Preferably, experience working in multicultural environments
