Management of the planning and scheduling of all resources to ensure work is executed in accordance with Engineering Standards, Service level agreements and also drive optimal stock level in the distribution facilities in accordance with Inventory management principles to ensure cost effectiveness of the entire operation. This includes exploring and seeking various workable commercial frameworks, work in collaborations with all the departments in reviewing, scrutinizing and developing efficient and effective systems and process flow.
MAIN OUTPUTS
- Monitor and ensure regional on time service delivery as per SLA's or as agreed with Client
- Pro-actively interact and engage with the client to understand areas of improvement and ensure that turn-around times are shortened to the satisfaction of the client.
- Ensure relevant feedback, information and reports are prepared, submitted and presented to various stakeholders on all aspects of service delivery and profitability.
- Leading, facilitating, developing and implementing relevant resource management process improvements in order to achieve SLA targets
- Management of the regional store inventory, churn & asset (Tools & equipment) budget, ensuring that proper utilization of allocated budget and being able to provide valid variance explanation on P&Ls. Ensure compliance with policies and procedures related to financial management, controls and expenditure authorization levels.
- Monitor the productivity of all Human Capital allocated to the regional resource section and ensure that all human capital operate to capacity. Effectively deal with non-performance and destructive behavior which might jeopardize Bidvest FM standing with the Client.
- Ensure Health & Safety is a primary function and all mechanisms, processes and procedures are in place, monitored and adhered to at all times
- Ensuring through Supply Chain that the region has competent and diligent service providers to utilize in cases of emergencies and that such service providers are compliant with Bidvest FM BBBEE strategy.
- Coaching, mentoring and counseling of staff not performing to the required standards and ensuring that employees improve on performance gaps highlighted during informal sessions and performance appraisals.
The Applicant must meet the following requirements:
- National Diploma in Property Management, Facility Management, Resource Planning, Logistics or Engineering Studies
- Matric
- Valid code 8 Drivers license
- Minimum 3 Years experience in planning & scheduling including exposure to Logistics /Inventory Management. Ideally have exposure to SAP maintenance management system or any other Automated Maintenance Management System
