Communications Support PositionGrootbos Private Nature Reserve, a five star eco-luxury lodge in the Overberg, is looking for an enthusiastic communications and social media candidate. (Please refer to www.grootbos.com & www.grootbosfoundation.org to orientate yourself with the brand)
Job responsibilities:
- Strategically distribute the brand’s content across a variety of different social networks
- Facebook, Instagram, Twitter & or other relevant platforms.
- Ensure tone, photography and content are in keeping with the brand identity and tone
- Read and reply to all messages and strategically direct leads to sales
- Brand monitoring and important event notification
- Interacting on external content relevant to client
- Write all social promotional texts
- Post / Schedule all social promotional texts
- Inform Marketing of opportunities and risks in the social realm
- Share relevant content that correlates with the content strategy
- Assist with relevant content generation
- Adding Custom URL’s to website links in posts
- Maintaining credible and well-kept social profiles, galleries, walls etc
- Writing and building email campaigns and drafting monthly newsletters
- Assist in SEO/Landing Page content writing & creation
- Achieve social media objectives for all clients
- Manage the image library
- Constantly review statistics on work done and improve the results
- Ensure content is of the highest standard without spelling or grammar errors, aligned with strategy, international standards and on trend
- Content creation for blogs and general PR assistance
Job requirements:
- A background in hospitality or marketing is an advantage
- Photography skills are an advantage
- Good writing skills are essential
- Value a collaborative environment
