Purpose Of Position
Complement Recruitment are recruiting for a Paid Media Specialist for a fully remote position based in Cape Town, Western Cape. The position is for an internationally based company, you will be directly responsible for the development and implementation of the complete paid (PPC, SEM, local & social) strategy. Integrating that strategy into every aspect of the business from inbound, nurture and remarketing to local and offline.

Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years experience managing paid search and paid social campaigns
- Ecommerce experience a must
- Takealot, Marketplace, eBay
- Google Ads certified
- Facebook Blueprint certified (preferable)
- Agency experience (preferable)
- Ability to work independently but as part of a team
- Manage the complete customer journey from start to finish
- Good understanding of the full marketing landscape
- Advanced Excel skills
- Keen to move beyond PPC
- Some data experience and keen to dabble in data e.g. Data Studio
- Data-driven decision making
- Highly analytical and comfortable working with large datasets
- Experience with feeds would be highly desirable
- Attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Tinkerer

- Google Adwords Certified: 4 to 5 years
- Paid Media: 5 to 6 years
- Paid Social: 2 to 3 years
- Worked with/in Hubspot, Mailchimp, Takealot, Marketplace, eBay, Google Adwords, banners, Social Media, data analytics, national campaigns, international companies
The ideal candidate is searching for a break from the day-to-day campaign adjustments and needs a new challenge. To get systems to speak to each other and allow for scaled growth through data-driven decision-making. We're on the lookout for a motivated person who's driven by results, who loves to tinker and who strives for that little bit extra. As the team is based in Cape Town your working hours would be 6am to 3pm, Monday to Friday. The position is fully remote, but you need to be Cape Town based as we get together once a month for coffee and a strategy session.

Develop and implement paid strategies for the two business units (B2B & B2C) including;
- PPC
- Social
- Display
- Remarketing
- Marketplaces
- Above the line
- Develop and manage high-performing campaigns across platforms
- Create, develop and test campaign material along with the design team
- Incorporate strategies into CRM (no previous experience required)
- Implement all keyword and audience optimisation
- Setup analytics, conversion tracking and remarketing tags
- Analyse campaign performance and adjust accordingly
- Analyse data and develop better conversion points
- Keep optimising/AB testing and beating the previous high
- Provide actionable insights for the rest of the team and juniors
- Stay abreast of the latest developments and trends
- Champion digital strategies and tactics
- Lead and mentor juniors
