To monitor and report on the effectiveness of those controls in the management of the organisation's exposure to risks (monitoring and detection).
Minimum Requirements
- Bcom/LLB/Quality Assurance qualification.
- 1-3 years monitoring experience within a Banking or Insurance environment.
- Experience in liaising with Senior/Manager level.
- Working knowledge of S.A legislation (Banks Act, FICS, FAIS, NCA, BCOEA, LRA, CPA, LTIA, STIA, TCF etc).
- Compliance Monitoring.
- Compliance Reporting.
- Advisory, Awareness and Training.
- Create and maintain productive relationships with internal and external clients by providing advice and assistance.
- Create understanding of the 'real' versus 'perceived' need through experience and expertise while complying with company polices legislation and regulations.
- Keep the client informed about progress through written communication, telephone communications and/or face to face meetings.
