Summary
Responsible for a diverse range of duties, supporting recruitment consultants to identify, vet, and clear
temporary workers in accordance with the formal vetting safeguarding process.
To support candidates through the on-line, self-registration administration process necessary to be
compliant with Keeping Children Safe in Education and employment law.
A compliance officer performs the following tasks:
Initiate candidate clearing process, motivate candidates to progress quickly and accurately through on-line self-registration safeguarding steps.
Handle and own enquiries from candidates and clients.
Monitor progressing of candidates through the online vetting platform
Process reference requests as per the policy.
Child workforce DBS & Barred List process & checks (+3- 6-month checks)
Become familiar and confident with the candidate online vetting platform.
Maintains and improve administrative processes and systems.
Clears candidates for work quickly reducing delay.
Maintain candidate filing accurately on SharePoint.
Format documentation
Handles and relay queries, e.g., candidate: availability, payroll, timesheet, pension enrolment, etc
Accurately follow the formal vetting policy
Report progress to rec consultants and managers.
Identify any issues quickly.
Fill when needed day-to-day vacancy requests, supporting clients, candidates & consultants.
Attend meetings.
Support credit control, chase debt when necessary.
Maintain positive relationships with all clients, candidates & consultants.
Liaises with outsourced payroll company to support pay accuracy.
Supports recruitment consultants with admin as needed.
