Global Forwarding Freight has an opening for a Compliance Specialist to be based in either United Arab Emirates or South Africa where you will be an integral part of DHL Group Compliance Organization. The CS supports the implementation of the compliance and Data Protection Management system in DGF MEA and reports to the DGF MEA Regional Compliance and Date Protection Officer. In this Compliance Specialist position
- You will support the implementation of Compliance Management System (CMS) and data protection program for DGF MEA.
- You will be stimulating buy-in on compliance as a business priority.
- You will develop country compliance/data protection initiatives.
- You will assist RCO in oversight and monitoring the implementation of local country operations.
- You will ensure compliance policies (e.g Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption, and Business Ethics Policy) are implemented in the MEA countries, ensure adherence to compliance standards.
- You will be a highly visible central point of contact in the country for all matters related to compliance/data protection and promoting a culture of openness for reporting compliance concerns or risks.
- You will collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, HR, Security, IT.
- A university Degree
- 2-3 years experience in a corporate environment
- Experience in legal or compliance is preferred but not a must
- Excellent command of English (written, verbal, comprehension), Arabic/French will be an added advantage
