Role Overview
As a Compliance Team Leader, you will oversee a team of compliance officers and ensure that the team follows our company standards and provides excellent consulting services to our clients. You will play a crucial role in maintaining a culture of excellence within the organisation and driving continuous improvement in our processes.
- The Compliance Team Leader will work closely with the Chief Operation Officer and the Compliance Specialist team.
- 20-30% of time spent on Supporting the Compliance Specialist team on day-to-day activities.
- 70-80% spent in the role of a Compliance Officer
- Manage and support our clients with compliance and legal requirements.
- Audit and Review of compliance processes including but not limited to credit risk management issues.
- Support on renewal of Global Insurance Programme
- Identifying Regulatory and Operational Risks and reporting it to the Management.
- Review of the engagement of contractors, 3rd party vendors and management/umbrella companies
- Advising on Risk Management issues
- Assist in drafting policies to comply with compliance and regulatory requirements
- Supporting regional compliance heads on the monitoring of business and regulatory risk
- Reviewing compliance manuals and adherence to such manuals globally
- Preparing and drafting Monthly Compliance & Risk Reports - Approval by Management
- Reviewing and drafting non-standard Client Contracts (SOW and Master Agreements)
- Coordinate and work with Management on Monthly Compliance.
- LLB and admitted attorney.
- Proven experience in compliance management, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- 5 years of which 2 years must be in a managerial role
- R25, 000 - R35, 000 (depending on candidate and experience)
