Safari365, one of Cape Towns most respected inbound online Tour Operators, is embarking on an exciting year of growth and change in 2024, and were on the lookout for experienced Concierge Specialists to join our friendly team, for what is bound to be our best year yet!
** This is a hugely exciting, immersive and high profile role as the face of Safari365, launching with our brand new Concierge Team. Please only apply if you have a minimum of 3-5 years experience in a direct client or guest services role within the tourism industry **
About The Position
Our Concierge Specialists will take the lead in looking after our international clients once they have confirmed their safari holiday, right through to the trip itself and their return back home.
As their main point of contact, you will ensure their trip is seamless. You will be on hand to upsell a variety of additional services, offer tailored advice, add special personalised touches as well as being on call for round-the-clock support, to ensure they are wowed from start to finish.
Candidate Profile
As this important role requires constant interaction with high value international clients (including face to face), the successful candidate will need to demonstrate:
- A minimum of 3-5 years experience in a direct client or guest services role within the tourism industry
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, confidence, a commitment to service excellence and relationship building
- An innate understanding of what's exciting and appealing to our client demographic (particularly with regards to Cape Town, safari activities and how to help someone have the time of their lives when visiting)
- Flawless presentation and excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
- Flexibility, with a strong flair for problem solving under pressure
- Incredible organisation and attention to detail
- A willingness to learn, upsell and add constant value to our Concierge chain
- Knowledge of luxury safari products and destinations hugely advantageous
- A dynamic tourism business undergoing a complete rebranding transformation in early 2024, with innovative management, product, marketing and operations colleagues who will encourage you to directly shape the brand new Concierge Team

- 15 days annual leave (increasing yearly, up to 20 days), plus Public Holidays

- Monday to Friday working hours, with flexibility required to manage emergencies in the evenings/weekends
- Hybrid or office-based working environment near Century City, Cape Town (dependent on experience)
