Responsibilities Include
- Construction Oversight: Manage all aspects of construction, including scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Work with subcontractors to ensure they follow contracts and schedules.
- Site Supervision: Lead on-site activities, ensuring safety, adherence to building codes, and progress according to plans.
- Quality Control: Maintain construction quality standards through inspections and checks.
- Safety Assurance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment. Address safety issues promptly.
- Materials and Equipment Management: Coordinate the procurement and delivery of materials and equipment needed for construction.
- Reporting: Provide regular updates on progress and address any issues that may affect the project timeline.
- Minimum 15 years of construction experience in large corporations
- Experience in mechanical, piping, and structural steel
- Proficiency in installation of heat exchangers and pressurized equipment
- Registered with PMI (Project Management Institute) and PPM (Professional Project Manager)
- SACPMP registered
- Computer literate, proficient in MS Project or Primavera for creating project schedules
- Ability to liaise with clients
- Experienced in managing supervision and assembling method statements
- Proficient in planning and coordinating different disciplines
- Fluent in English
- Conducts oneself professionally at all times
- Demonstrates an excellent track record with contactable references
