Job requirements:
- Bachelor's degree/graduate diploma in English, communications, marketing, journalism, advertising or a related field.
- Knowledge of the property industry.
- Working knowledge of HTML and CMS software such as WordPress, Google Analytics and SEO Techniques.
- Fluent in Microsoft office.
- Five years experience in content writing and digital environment.
- Three years of experience comprised of agency, digital and/or media publishing work.
- Experience in Photoshop.
- Working knowledge of Facebook and Twitter.
- Fluent in English: written and spoken.
- A willingness to travel.
- Valid driver’s license.
Job responsibilities:
- Finding newsworthy and breaking news content that resonates with our audience.
- Quick turn-around on sourcing, researching and writing engaging content for a variety of events.
- Brainstorming and writing of viral content and original feature articles.
- Planning updates on features from an SEO perspective.
- Writing strong social media posts.
- Plan, research, write, review and edit copy for digital content.
- Come up with strong efficient ways to grow events, newsworthy content and readership.
- Develop new avenues of content to increase unique visitor’s numbers, page views, newsletter subscriptions and community engagement.
- Copyedit and sub-edit event and editorial content daily in line with site style.
- Brainstorming original feature and viral content ideas.
- Add content to content management system and to social media schedule.
