Job Description
Production, Process and Quality: Plan, organise, lead and control the relevant business team area and support departments in order to achieve plant Delivery, Efficiency, Quality and Cost objectives, overall lead and driver for these KPIs and main lead for CBT2; Improve manpower utilization within existing department and process thru efficiency projects achieving the stdT/mnhr objectives; Achievement of all CBT2 KPIs.
Cost: Planning of Budget: Monthly and Annual Forecasts, Financial and manning; Controlling of expenditure & overtime daily; Capital Expenditure - Creation of Capital request; Ensure correct manning level - Monthly reviews, planning and forward thinking; Direct driver with his/her team to ensure process cost are below budget level.
Processes: Analyse and improvement of all working procedures related to production and quality improvements. Management, Coordination and troubleshooting of activities related to Daily Output, Scrap 1-4, Rework/Work off, non-conforming components, LPA audits, etc. Introduction of projects related to production, process and efficiency improvements, steering, leading, and participating where required (Kaizen, VSM, CBS, 5S, etc).
People: Responsible to apply required disciplinary procedures with subordinates that does not follow company policy and rules, as well to apply PIP for subordinates which are not performing to required standard; Responsible for identifying specific training needs for his/her team members and ensure the development and training of his/her people are carried out via support from shopfloor training and HR, including succession planning; Mentoring, coaching & motivating.

Safety, Health and Environmental Responsibilities: Issue procedures and work instructions, ensure implementation of measures, and maintain controls; Raise awareness, ensure regular ESH training and provide information about ESH responsibilities and duties; Ensure immediate notification and response, and initiate preventive measures in case of unsafe or polluting hazards; etc.
Qualifications
Relevant Tertiary qualification
3-5 yrs Production / Manufacturing /Industrial Engineering experience
A minimum of 3 years Management/ Leadership experience
