Role Summary
The role of the Internal Recruiter will involve utilising recruitment technology applications and agreed end-to end processes to provide recruitment services across all areas of the business focussed across Europe and with primary focus to key Professional Service customers.
- Responsible for following the end-to-end recruitment process
- Assist in developing the sourcing strategy for each role recruited and agree the strategy with hiring manager
- Ensure all requisitions are fully specified and tracked through the correct authorisation, sourcing channels and processes
- Interpret resourcing plans, define role requirements and develop innovative sourcing options including networking, headhunting and building talent pools
- Manage our presence on job boards, ensuring at all times we are getting value for money out of the agreements and our listings are positioned for maximum effectiveness; measure and own the reporting on response rates
- Maintain the recruitment system (iCIMS) so that it accurately reflects the status of all selection activity
- Conduct direct candidate sourcing and screening, qualify suitable candidates and provide a short-list to the hiring manager
- Facilitate the interview and selection process
- Ensure management information activity reports produced are accurate
- Maintains the recruitment system demonstrating respect for the integrity of all data
- Identify areas of process improvement, service enhancement and opportunities to increase the scope of the service
- Provide a high level of candidate care by ensuring best practice selection methods are followed and frequent communication is deployed (e.g. debriefing candidates and selling roles)
- Build a good understanding of the business and skills required by candidates to succeed within it
- Build collaborative relationships with hiring managers and manage issues, escalating as required
- Identifies opportunities for improvement and shares these during team meetings
- Communicate sensitive information (e.g. candidate rejection, disagreement with hiring managers direction) confidently and professionally
- Add value to your business area through awareness and understanding of recruitment skills, trends and market knowledge
- Conduct ad-hoc market research on particular areas
- Knowledge of relevant legislation
- Willingness to support with adhoc tasks that may be required
- Mandatory language Fluent English
- Educated to degree level
- The ideal candidate will have experience of both Agency and In-House recruitment preferably gained in a professional services / IT environment.
- Candidates solely from an Agency background will be considered but must have a minimum of 3 years experience.
- Expertise in various candidate sourcing strategies (e.g. web sourcing, networking, advertising and database searching)
- Experience managing candidates through the full end to end recruitment process
- Experience in the use of recruitment databases, knowledge of Icims would be advantageous
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Word and Excel
- Awareness of employment legislation
