Is this you?
You've just finished your articles where you gained some experience with either renewable energy / construction law and you'd love the opportunity to work for an international renewable energy company.
You're looking to gain hands-on experience and add value with the experience you've already gained.
What you'll be doing (and why you'll enjoy it)
You'll be responsible for overseeing and managing all contractual agreements that the company enters in to with it's clients, vendors, partners and lenders. You will also negotiate, review and execute contracts that are in compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
You'll need to work with legal contracts from overseas and ensure they pertain to SA renewable energy law. You'll be liaising with the international team to ensure contracts meet the company's requirements.
Where you'll be doing it
You will be working for an international Renewable Energy company with their small but dynamic SA team, joining their Cape Town CBD office. There are two days a week that are work from home days. There's a young team that are down to earth and passionate about what they do, focused on taking the business to the next level.
What you'll need
You need your legal degree plus you would've completed your articles where you've had experience with contractual law in renewable energy / construction law. If you're experienced with the technical, contractual, legal and financial aspects of a contract in energy efficiency, photovoltaic and energy service, you'll have the right skill we're looking for.
We're looking for someone that has fantastic attention to detail, strong business acumen and is driven. You're able to work independently but at the same time, work closely with an international team and take guidance. There is a lot of international reporting so that's definitely something you'll need to be keen to tackle. It's a small and down to earth environment of a growing company that's still developing and putting certain processes and key people in place so we're looking for someone that's keen to be part of that.
What you'll get
A young, dynamic environment awaits you with a basic salary and flexible working hours. A team that gets together a few times a year for team building and encourage a relaxed but productive environment.
