Job Description
- Configuring and engineering Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs) from a variety of vendors (SEL, GE, ABB, Siemens)
- Engineering substation and distribution automation systems using IEC 6180 MMS and GOOSE
- Applying cyber security policies and procedures on projects and complying with NERC CIP standards
- Engineering and optimizing telecontrol protocols including DNP3, IEC 60870-5-101/103/104, ICCP, Profibus, Modbus
- Implementing secure role based remote engineering access and data retrieval solutions in a power system
- Programming user-based logic using IEC 61131-3 on platforms requiring automation and control
- Configuring protection relays for SCADA, Substation Automation and Time Synchronization
- Configuring and engineering substation gateways
- Implementing secure industrial networking solutions in a substation using a number of telecommunication technologies including TCP/IP, RSTP, VLAN’s, Firewalls, VPN access, IPSec.)

Minimum Requirements
- Registered as Professional Engineer
- BSc / BEng / Btech degree or equal qualification in Electrical Engineering
- 4 - 7 years experience within a similar role with excellent knowledge in substation and distribution automation systems, HMIs,Telecontrol applications, telecommunication, cyber securities, remote engineering access, Supervisor Control and Data Acquisition and protection
- Experience in technical report writing, financial and project management
- Computer Literate mainly MS Excel, IPAS
- Valid driver’s license and own Transport
- Willing to work overtime
