Position Overview
The purpose of this role is to effectively control the quality of repairs, receipting of Panelshop orders and managing final costing of repairs.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Job Outputs
- Receive daily allocation sheet, daily term as well as next day term rentals from Admin Section.
- Conduct an inspection of vehicles against the inspection and safety requirements of the vehicles.
- Sort out daily out of service vehicles / available vehicles schedule on terminations.
- Complete next day available section on allocation sheet and allocate vehicles.
- Indicate out of service on separate sheet to Admin Section.
- Mark out of service properly and park vehicle in allocated parking area (report to Admin Section and or Depot Manager).
- Ensure next day rentals are parked and ready for delivery according to allocation sheet
- Assist with the delivery of vehicles to airport or branches when required.
- Hand over next day allocations to Airport Manager/next day rental agents with instructions to shortages and special requests at close of day.
- Ensure all vehicle keys are signed off by Security/Car Park on delivering a vehicle to car park or branch.
- Assist on daily fleet check at close of day by completing fleet check sheet
Minimum Experience:
- 1 year of quality or administration experience
- NQF level 4 (Matric or equivalent)
- Code 8 drivers license
- Computer literate: intermediate level of proficiency needed on MS Excel and Word.
