Your role at impact.com:

At impact.com, we are on a mission to educate publishers, advertisers, and agencies on how to mutually benefit from partnership opportunities. We enable industry professionals to excel in their roles through our Partnerships Experience Academy (PXA).

As a copywriter intern at Partnerships Experience Academy (PXA), impact.coms academy, your focus will be on creating and editing content both within our courses and for marketing purposes, as well as data entry and other tasks as needed. Your writing will be instrumental in shaping our students' learning experiences and driving engagement with our academy.

This paid internship is 3 months with the potential option to extend at the end of the period.

What you have:
  • Previous writing and/or editing experience outside of your academic environment, such as blogging, scripting, content writing, transcription, creative writing, web copy writing, etc.
  • Proven ability to write clear, engaging, and error-free copy and adapt writing style to different purposes and audiences.
  • Strong aptitude for graphic design and other forms of visual communication.
  • A deep desire to learn and grow as a writer, staying receptive to and continuously applying feedback and actively seeking opportunities for self-improvement.
  • A genuine interest in the world and people, curiosity about various topics and industries, and a knack for spotting connections and generating ideas and insights.
  • The ability to extrapolate from existing content in order to edit accurately and create fresh, effective copy is integral to the role.
  • Complete the PXA Affiliate & Partnerships Industry Fundamentals Certification
Preferred:
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program in English or English Literature, Creative Writing, Linguistics, Anthropology or Sociology, Communications or Media Studies, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with SEO and digital marketing.
  • A portfolio of writing projects.
What you'll do:
  • Edit course-related content and video storyboard language to be clear, concise, and engaging, strictly adhering to PXAs voice and Corporate Identity guide and principles of learning design.
  • Write persuasive marketing copy for various platforms, including emails and social media, that is accurate to the subject matter.
  • Proofread to ensure that all written materials are error-free, maintaining high standards of grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
  • Work within our LMS (Learning Management System), Intellum, and our internal customer information tool, Operator, to support PXA team members in completing weekly New User Reports to maintain data quality.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Company.

Please note that this is a Hybrid role and the successful candidate will be required to be in office a minimum of two days a week.
