• Knowledge of LEAN and 5S in manufacturing
• Experience in a rubber manufacturing environment will be beneficial

Essential Duties

• Supervises all functions within the Moulding/Press Area to ensure timely and efficient production output
• Main responsibilities include scheduling and prioritizing of all Moulding Department functions within the areas of housekeeping, production making, problem solving and planning.
• Responsible for the overall direction, coordination and evaluation of the work done by carrying out these job responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
• Ensuring that realistic targets are set for individuals within the department and that they are met when agreed to.

Safety and resolving problems

Must have computer and have excel to be able to capture there OEE and scrap.

Must be very strong individuals and be able to manage a job shop.

Must have strong leadership and must be able to get their hands dirty.
