Trainee Corporate Tax
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a new Tax Trainee into the Maidstone office of Crowe UK LLP (Crowe) in Maidstone.
We are looking for a graduate or school leaver with the attitude and commitment to meet the needs of our award-winning firm. In return, our trainees share in the success of one of the UKs leading audit, tax and advisory firms.

Role
- The role will primarily be focussed on assisting the tax department provide corporate services to our Kent client base. It will be a varied role getting involved in a wide portfolio of clients from individuals, owner managed businesses.
- The successful candidate will assist with the provision of both tax compliance and advisory services to a mixed portfolio of corporate and personal tax clients.
- Preparing and submitting corporate tax computations
- Assisting with the tax aspects of company audits, tax provisioning and the preparation of the tax numbers for the statutory accounts
- Dealing with HMRC matters on behalf of our clients
- Researching and providing tax support on ad-hoc advisory projects
- Tax Trainee
- Salary will be market rate
- The tax trainee will report directly into the tax seniors and managers within the Maidstone office.
- Support and study leave for the accounting qualification (AAT) and tax qualification (ATT) will be provided
- The successful candidate must be:
- Self-motivated, proactive and with an eagerness to learn
- Numerate and confident with numbers
- Be able to communicate confidently and have good verbal and written skills
- Able to meet the minimum BBC (or equivalent UCAS points) A level requirement with GCSE grade B or above in English Language and Maths
