COST ACCOUNTANT / FARMS ACCOUNTANT – Mountain Valley KZN The ideal candidate would be responsible for: Maintaining cost accounting system Maintaining farms accounting system Updating the general ledger with the farms information Assisting in month-end close of the general ledger. Conducting of physical inventories and monitoring the cycle count programme. Reconciliation of finished goods inventories. Back up to the Financial accountant The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: • B.com degree or B Compt • Sound knowledge of cost accounting and financial accounting • Must have at least 3-5 years relevant experience • Highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of Pastel Evolution and Excel • Experience in the Food Processing Industry Environment will be an added advantage • Strong analytical skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be able to work under pressure and independently. • Must be a team player. • Must have own reliable transport.
