COST ACCOUNTANT / FARMS ACCOUNTANT – Mountain Valley KZN The ideal candidate would be responsible for:  Maintaining cost accounting system  Maintaining farms accounting system  Updating the general ledger with the farms information  Assisting in month-end close of the general ledger.  Conducting of physical inventories and monitoring the cycle count programme.  Reconciliation of finished goods inventories.  Back up to the Financial accountant The successful candidate must meet the following requirements: • B.com degree or B Compt • Sound knowledge of cost accounting and financial accounting • Must have at least 3-5 years relevant experience • Highly computer literate with a good working knowledge of Pastel Evolution and Excel • Experience in the Food Processing Industry Environment will be an added advantage • Strong analytical skills. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Must be able to work under pressure and independently. • Must be a team player. • Must have own reliable transport.
