To be responsible for all operational and strategic sales and marketing activities within South Africa. In conjunction with the daily activities of product/service sales, their responsibility will be to inform/liaise/cooperate with General Manager, business unit manager, and other sales managers.

- Meet with Sales representatives and product specialist to implement the introduction of new products and its technical support.
- Achievement Sales & Profit Targets
- Act as the main contact person for customers regarding Surgical products.
- Alignment and monitoring of customer demands and implementation of supporting measures.
- Setting-up long-term relations with end-users.
- Participation in congress.
- Setting of budgets and sales development plans.
- P&L responsibility
- Propose and plan corrective actions to reach the objective and targets.
- Assist to obtain the Gross Profit and Direct profit of the business and the sales development for client products.
- To set up the individual sales quota, incentive programmes and follow-up progress.
- Develop the overarching IS strategy for the region.
- Expand Sales Portfolio
- Implement defined strategies and develop tactics to improve the sales and profitability of Client products.
- Expansion, development, and protection of the business activities in the region.
- Train Internal & External Customers
- Give and set training programmes for external and internal customers.
- To develop, coach and monitor the sales and Marketing team.
- Lead & Motivate Team Members
- Acts and behaves as a team-player using the appropriate management style.
- Develops, coaches and monitors the team members.
- Actively engages the team to work and resolve issues through collaborative problem solving.

- Acts as a representative of the company towards many third parties.
- Assume all other responsibilities and authorities this function may require regarding new opportunities.
- To meet with European marketing management to develop appropriate product and technical support.

Skills & Experience:
- Degree or relevant experience.
- Experience managing a sales team, minimum 4/5 years.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- Excellent leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Strong operational and strategic experience in business management and business development.
- Good financial understanding of budget and target setting as well as P&L management.
